And making elderflower cordial.

Not to mention the anniversary we’ll always associate with all of these events.

It will be fifteen years on Monday since Gordon - Daddy - had a fatal heart attack, having just arrived in Cyprus at the start of their summer holiday. Whenever I look for a photo of him, I am reminded that there are no more than I currently have, most of which are so very familiar. But whilst my collection includes this one, taken on his way home from school one day in the 1930s, I will smile and be content.
