An Elegant Sufficiency

Just a test

I love puzzles of all kinds and an evening with Pointless, Only Connect and University Challenge on TV will find my hero and I glued to the screen - or, more accurately, actively participating!  No coincidence then, that Ellis and Mary, who await our arrival in Berlin, are part of the Trivia Team Extraordinaire, for we met some years ago,  somewhere off the coast of Australia in a game of Name That Tune.

So a flight, however short, is bound to require a pencil and a paper copy of The Times.  Such luxury is a rare treat, for since we began to read the paper online, there's no Sudoku!  Yes, it's there on the phone edition, but not on the tablet, sadly, and even though I know I can make a daily request to have it sent by email, I don't bother.  Occasionally, whilst waiting for an appointment, I'll do the puzzle on my phone, but it's not the same somehow.  So, on this mornings flight to Berlin, I sat back and enjoyed the luxury of Sudoku as it should be.

I am also experimenting with composing my blog post offline, which seems perfectly doable, except for pictures, which need an Internet connection to insert.  OK, I can do that later... I hope.   So, from a British Airways A320, somewhere over Hannover, that's as far as I can go for now - i'll hit the 'publish' button when we have Internet again.

(Thanks, airport wifi...now may we have our luggage please?)
