Did someone say 34?

...and laugh?

It's that time of the year again.  It comes around all too quickly, but who's counting?   My nearest and dearest need no excuses to spoil me with flowers and endless surprises which seem to go on for days and leave me feeling very fortunate indeed.

Sweet friends remember and send cards with love and good wishes.  Maybe they are adding up the years on their fingers...and toes?  (They'd need to get a group together!)  Actually, a rather large number of people sent birthday greetings by means of FB, where the answer would surely be shared with the whole world if I'd completed all the information when I set it up.  Again, so lovely to find yet more surprise messages appearing throughout the day, as the sun rose over each continent.  I know how quick and easy it is to click "Happy Birthday" when prompted, but when I'm on the receiving end, it's so lovely and in many cases, begins a jolly conversation with someone dear.

What a lucky girl, then, to spend my birthday somewhere interesting and find that some sweet friends have been there recently and left a surprise for me! 

For now, I'll simply leave a clue as to our whereabouts and share a few more photographs and stuff later.  Suffice to say, it's been a lovely few days and I say a huge thank you!
